UPDATE: First Look At Disney’s Frozen!

FrozenSmall Disney has been rather guarded in regards to its latest upcoming animated feature, Frozen. Thanks to the Argentine news site Cine 1, we now have some hi-res images of characters Anna and Elsa, as well as a new teaser poster.

Here’s Frozen‘s official synopsis:

Featuring the voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, “Frozen” is the coolest comedy-adventure ever to hit the big screen. When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna, a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Anna’s sister Elsa, the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell. Encountering mystical trolls, a funny snowman named Olaf, Everest-like extremes and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.

Before now, Disney had previously only released this bit of concept art.

All of us here at Animation Fascination are pretty excited about Frozen! What about you guys?

Well, sometimes things are indeed too good to be true as we have come to find out the posters for Frozen are indeed fake. Disney has been in the process today of making sites take down the posters and Elsa C., a current Disney employee, took to twitter to assure us that they are indeed fakes.
This does leave one to ponder the origins of these “fakes”, which to me look pretty legit, as well as wonder just when Disney plans to “legitimately” release more info about Frozen. Only time will tell, I suppose.
