It happens every year. The Oscars show up and when it gets to the Best Animated Short category, you find yourself wondering, “How on Earth does one go about seeing these shorts in the first place?” Well, thanks to some great effort by FirstShowing.Net, now you can!
The five shorts nominated are:
- Adam and Dog directed by Minkyu Lee
- Fresh Guacamole directed by PES
- Head Over Heels directed by Timothy Reckart & Fodhla Cronin O’Reilly
- Maggie Simpson in The Longest Daycare directed by David Silverman
- Paperman directed by John Kahrs

I’m a die-hard Simpsons fan for life, so my heart wants tells me its the best, but I think we all know that Disney’s Paperman short is pretty magnificent and is going to be almost impossible to beat. Animation Fascination 
I think “Paperman” will win, although I think “Adam and Dog” should win. Also I think “Fresh Guacamole” is incredibly creative!
