The Hub TV Network, the kid and family friendly joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro, announced this week their schedule for the 2013-14 season, which includes two original series, two acquired series, nine returning series, and two original movies. All in all, there are lots of animated programming now playing and coming soon on The Hub.

The two original programs are another incarnation of Sabrina the Teenage Witch called Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch (produced by Moonscoop, Archie Comic Publications, DSK Group India, Laughing Lion and Telegael Teoranta) featuring the voice of Disney Channel star Ashley Tisdale (Phineas and Ferb), and Spooksville, based on the supernatural book series of the same name (produced by Front Street Pictures and Springville Productions in association with Jane Startz Productions).

Two original family movies are coming to The Hub. Decepticons and Autobots continue their battles in Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising, which premieres this Friday, March 22, 7:30 PM Eastern Time. Coming in early 2014 is Stan Lee’s Mighty 7, an original series produced by Stan Lee’s POW Entertainment which features an animated version of Mr. Lee himself (how cool is that?!) helping a group of aliens become super heroes.
Another Awesome Thing About The Hub
In addition to all of their other programming, The Hub also regularly shows reruns of Warner Bros.’ ever-funny and ever-awesome Animaniacs! “Poit!”
I’m really looking forward to season 3 of Pound Puppies!
