The international teaser for Blue Sky Studios’ Rio 2, the sequel to the 2011 animated hit, Rio, has hit the Internet. The teaser, which runs at just under a minute, features a colorful bevy of animated birds (and a dog) dancing in a conga line.
Rio 2 centers around Blu and Jewel and their new family of rare Blue Macaws trying to live a normal life. The 3D animated film features the returning voice work of Jesse Eisenberg as Blu, Anne Hathaway as Jewel, Jamie Foxx as Nico, and Jermaine Clement as Nigel the cockatoo. Carlos Saldanha returns to once again direct andcontributed to the screenplay.
Rio 2 will hit North American theaters on April 7, 2014.
