As the much-beloved, much-ballyhooed San Diego Comic Con draws ever closer (this years event takes place July 18th – 21st), studios are beginning to tease what type of content they will be showcasing during their panels and events. Warner Bros. has announced quite a slate of activity composed of not only their live action endeavors, but also quite a few notables in the realm of animation.
On July 18th, WB promises fans of the animated skit show MAD (which airs on Mondays at 8:30 pm/7:30 central on Cartoon Network) a “glimpse behind the MADness” with show producers Kevin Shinick and Mark Marek. Then on July 21st WB is bringing fans a DC animated double shot with looks at the upcoming CG animated Beware The Batman (premiering Saturday, July 13th at 10am on Cartoon Network) with two of the show’s producers, Glen Murakami and Mitch Watson, in attendance. This will be followed by a screening and Q&A session for current Cartoon Network favorite, Teen Titans Go! (airs Tuesdays at 7:30 pm/6:30 c). Joining the Q&A session will be producer Alan Hovarth and several of the show’s voice acting talents, including Greg Cipes and Scott Menville.
