The Wind Rises, the latest film from Studio Ghibli, will screen next month at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Directed by Hayao Miyazaki, the film tells the story of the designer of the Japanese Zero fighter planes used in World War II.
The film is currently the number one movie in Japan, sitting atop the Japanese box office for the last four weeks. The screening of the film at TIFF will be its North American debut. No U.S. release date has been set.
