Hello, once again! For animation fans young and old alike, this week’s new releases bring something for everyone! This week, we have Peter Pan: Diamond Edition, its sequel, Peter Pan in Return to Neverland, and our featured release, Epic.
With an incredible voice-acting roster and a wonderful score by Danny Elfman, Epic is the story of a teenaged girl who is transported deep into the forest and it put in the middle of a war of good versus evil. Together with a group of misfits, she must put together a team that will settle the score once and for all. Although the story may seem a bit familiar, the animation is absolutely superb in this film. I highly recommend! (The film is also available in 3D.)
Next is a classic Disney film that has already received a Blu-ray release. Peter Pan: Diamond Edition comes to DVD this week, and is definitely a must-have for any classic animation fan, young or old!
Finally, we have our previous film’s sequel, Peter Pan in Return to Neverland. Wendy fetches Peter Pan’s help when her daughter, Jane, is captured by the evil Captain Hook and whisked away to Never Land. It’s up to our hero, Tinkerbell, and the Lost Boys to rescue Jane and defeat Captain Hook once and for all!
