ABC has released a trailer for Pixar’s Toy Story of Terror today via The Huffington Post. Everyone’s favorite group of toys are back for a scary Halloween adventure this October. This marks the first time Pixar has made a holiday TV special, and hopefully not the last. Check out the trailer and all the details below…
Synopsis of the TV special:
From Disney•Pixar comes a spooky new tale featuring all of the favorite characters from the “Toy Story” films. What starts out as a fun road trip for the “Toy Story” gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this “Toy Story of TERROR!”
All of the original voice cast from the critically acclaimed film trilogy will feature in the thirty minute Halloween special, including Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Wallace Shawn as Rex, Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, and Kristen Schaal as Trixie. Carl Weathers will join the cast as Combat Carl/Combat Carl Jr.
The special is set to debut on Wednesday, October 16th at 8pm ET on ABC.
