20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios have released a new trailer for their upcoming sequel Rio 2. Check it out after the jump…
Returning to the sequel is Brazilian director and long-time Blue Sky Studios staffer Carlos Saldanha (Ice Age, Robots, Ice Age: The Meltdown, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Rio). Also returning are all of the original voice cast, including Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, will.i.am, Jemaine Clement, Tracy Morgan, George Lopez, Leslie Mann, Rodrigo Santoro, and Jamie Foxx. New to the cast for the sequel are Andy Garcia, Rita Moreno, Bruno Mars, and Kristin Chenoweth.

“Rich with grandeur, character, color and music, ‘Rio 2’ finds Jewel, Blu and their three kids leaving their domesticated life in that magical city for a journey to the Amazon. They encounter a menagerie of characters who are born to be wild.”
Rio 2 opens in U.S. theaters April 11, 2014.
