The Star Wars Rebels team is busy–not only are they working hard on creating episodes of the new series, they are also making some cool promotional materials to share with all of us Star Wars fans! New this week are more Star Wars Rebels character profiles of the series’ main protagonists.
In addition to Kanan the “cowboy Jedi,” videos have been posted on the official Star Wars YouTube channel introducing Ezra the street-smart padawan, Zeb the strong alien dude, Sabine the beautiful visual and explosives artist, and Chopper the cantankerous astromech droid. Entertainment Weekly has just exclusively posted the video for the last main character reveal named Hera, the Twi’lek owner and pilot of the rebel spaceship Ghost. Also posted this week on the Star Wars YouTube channel are two new Disney XD teasers, one entitled “Spark,” and the other “Ignite.” The teasers include what appears to be finished animation and shows some of newly introduced characters in action.
We can’t wait! Star Wars Rebels is scheduled to premiere later this year on Disney Channel and Disney XD (exact dates TBA). Stay tuned to Animation Fascination for the latest Star Wars Rebels news and updates.
