Reports have been surfacing that comedian T.J. Miller is going to be voicing the character Fred in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming film Big Hero 6. Miller himself shared the information on his Twitter feed along with a link to the cool Big Hero 6 “first look” video of San Fransokyo. The tweet has since been removed. Nothing has been officially announced from Disney yet about the casting of Fred or any other role in the film (and we wonder if the folks at Disney made him remove the tweet).
T.J. Miller is a funny, quirky comedian and could be a great choice for the film. Miller has had multiple film and TV roles, including a role in this summer’s upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction. He tours as a stand up comedian and is a regular on Chelsea Lately on the E! cable channel. T.J. is also no stranger to animation voice over work. He is the voice of Tuffnut in both of the How to Train Your Dragon films along with the Dragons: Riders of Berk television series. He is also the voice of Robbie in the Disney Channel series Gravity Falls.
