In addition to the cool short from Bruce Timm, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have produced another animated tribute to Batman honoring the Caped Crusaders 75th anniversary. This new animated short is set in the Batman Beyond world with the semi-retired Bruce Wayne (voiced again by Kevin Conroy) and his young pal Terry (voiced by Will Friedle) taking up the mantle of Batman. The duo is being attacked by robotic Bat-droids that look like all of the different incarnations of the Batman character and the Bat-suit over the years. It’s really a cool tribute. The short was created by award-winning writer and artist Darwyn Cooke. It made its premiere last week at WonderCon in Anaheim, CA. It will air Wednesday, Apr. 23 at 6:30 PM (check your local listings) on Cartoon Network.
