Have you ever wanted to be a LAIKA artist? Well now’s your chance. LAIKA, the stop-motion animation studios behind such great films as Coraline and ParaNorman and the makers of the new feature coming this fall The Boxtrolls, are letting fans have an opportunity to create and submit their own “Boxtroll” online for a chance to win some cool prizes.
One grand prize winner will get a version of their own Boxtroll made into a real puppet by a LAIKA artist. 10 first-place winners will get a collectible poster designed by a LAIKA artist starring their Boxtroll. 15 second-place winners will win a special-edition box set of Boxtroll books.
