DreamWorks Animation has released a full trailer for its upcoming animated feature Home through the iTunes Movie Trailers website. Check it out after the jump…
Home is directed by Tim Johnson and features the voice talents of Jim Parsons, Jennifer Lopez, Steve Martin, and Rihanna. The film is based on the novel by Adam Rex, The True Meaning of Smekday.
From iTunes Movie Trailers:
“When Earth is taken over by the overly-confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while all Boov get busy reorganizing the planet. But when one resourceful girl, Tip (Rihanna), manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov named Oh (Jim Parsons). The two fugitives realize there’s a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime.”
Make sure to check out the entertaining Home website, too. Home comes to U.S. theaters in 3D on March 27th, 2015.

The trailer was actually a bit more interested in this film after seeing the trailer. Everything I saw before (including the short ‘Almost Home’) was definitely a turn off. But I think adding the human character, elements and settings helped ground this movie a bit. Also, surprisingly Rihanna’s voice acting is pretty decent!
