We were stoked to learn that actor James Arnold Taylor is reprising his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the upcoming Star Wars Rebels series. Check out the new trailer that was released this week from Disney and Lucasfilm.
Taylor has basically served as an “audio double” for actor Ewan McGregor in the Star Wars animated universe. Taylor voiced the character in both the Genndy Tartakovsky 2D Clone Wars micro-series and the Dave Filoni CG-animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars series that ended its run on Cartoon Network last year. He has also voiced Obi-Wan in several Star Wars video game titles.
Star Wars Rebels premieres on Disney X-D in October 2014. More info about the series should be coming from the Star Wars Rebels panel at San Diego Comic-Con, so stay tuned to Animation Fascination for the latest news and developments.
