Animation Fascination’s Marc Vibbert and Matt Quest continue with the Big Hero 6 awesomeness with a new time-lapse video. The video shows a 3D printer making the new Baymax 3D fan art they’ve created and made available to you, our loyal readers and subscribers.
As we previously announced, you can download the Baymax 3D model that Matt and Marc have created and print it on a 3D printer. The model is available to download for free on the Animation Fascination Thingiverse page (but, again, you’re on your own for the 3D printer).
3D printing is available all over the place. Do an online search for vendors in your area. Also make sure to check with your local Microsoft Store (find a store near you at http://www.microsoftstore.com). We hear that if you take the file with you to the Microsoft Store first thing in the morning, they will print it for free as part of an in-store demo. Your results may vary, but good luck and keep us posted.
Have fun and send us your pics if you print out the model! You can also share with us on social media by using the hashtag #BaymaxFascination.
Stay tuned to Animation Fascination for the latest in Big Hero 6 news and information and mark your calendars — Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Big Hero 6 comes to U.S. theaters in 3D on November 7th, 2014.
