LAIKA and Focus Features are sponsoring a new “Cardboard Challenge” contest in conjunction with upcoming opening of The Boxtrolls. They want kids of all ages around the world to create something creative out of cardboard and then post a picture of their creation on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #TheBoxtrollsCC.
All eligible entries received through the contest dates of September 2nd – 29th, 2014, will be judged based on the creation’s ingenuity, resourcefulness, and creativity.
The grand prize winner will get an “Imagination Box” containing a 21.5 in 2.9GHZ Apple iMac, a Space Gray 16GB iPad Air, and an Imagination Gift Pack with a copy of Microsoft Office, The Print Shop, and KidPix software, a $500 DiscoveryStore.com gift card, and a $1,000 Michael’s Arts & Crafts gift card (approximate combined retail value $4,000).
