The Walt Disney Studios, which was conspicuously absent from San Diego Comic-Con this summer, is going to be presenting at New York Comic Con this year instead. On the schedule for Thursday, October 9th is a presentation which will highlight two upcoming films: Walt Disney Animation Studios’ new feature Big Hero 6 and Disney’s live-action sci-fi pic Tomorrowland.
The panel presentation will take place from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM on the Main Stage 1-D at the Javitz Convention Center in New York City.
Representing the Big Hero 6 team are co-directors Don Hall and Chris Williams along with producer Roy Conli. For Tomorrowland, director Brad Bird and writer Damon Lindelof will be on hand.
From the official New York Comic Con Facebook page:
NYCC is second largest pop culture convention in America and the only one that takes place in the comic book, publishing, media, and licensing capital of the world — Gotham City. Our show floor plays host to the latest in comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies, and television, our panels give fans a chance to interact with their favorite creators, and our screening rooms feature premieres of films and TV shows months before they hit either big or small screens!
Big Hero 6 opens in U.S. theaters in 3D on November 7th, 2014.
Tomorrowland opens in U.S. theaters on May 22nd, 2015.
