Walt Disney Animation Studios is starting to show us more of the coolness that is Zootopia, their 55th animated motion picture.
In today’s edition of USA Today, we finally get a real look at the film’s two main characters, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps.
The article states:
Blending the anthropomorphism of classic cartoons such as ‘Robin Hood’ with the buddy comedy vibe of ‘48 Hrs.’, the Disney movie stars Jason Bateman as the voice of sly con-artist fox Nick Wilde and Ginnifer Goodwin as idealistic rookie rabbit cop Judy Hopps. As in nature, the fox and the rabbit don’t get along at first, but circumstances change when Nick needs her help to get out of a jam and Judy relies on him to help crack a big case.
Zootopia will also be making a bit of a splash at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Walt Disney Animation Studios will be holding a panel which will showcase their latest short Frozen Fever as well give as a sneak peak to attendees of Zootopia. Co-directors Byron Howard and Rich Moore will be in attendance. Rich is now on Twitter and here’s what he had to say:
Who’s going? Let us know!
