Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson posted the new poster for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming animated feature Moana today on his Facebook page.
The Rock also had a couple of other morsels of Moana goodness to share. Today’s post will be the first of “Moana Mondays.” Every Monday from now until Thanksgiving when the film opens in U.S. theaters, Dwayne, other cast members, and Walt Disney Animation Studios will be “serving up amazingly cool looks at the film, taking you deeper into how it was made, and what you can expect from our story and characters. And most importantly, THE MUSIC.” The Rock listed the hashtag of “#MOANAMondays.” (We’ll keep you posted if Monday is singular or plural–and The Rock is definitely going to kick my you-know-what for being the grammar police…)
He also spilled the beans that a new Moana trailer will be released this Thursday on ABC’s Good Morning America. We’ll post a link to the trailer as soon as it’s available later this week.
