44th Annual Annie Awards Nominees Announced

ASIFA-Hollywood, the International Animated Film Society, has announced the nominees for the 44th Annual Annie Awards, which recognize the year’s best work in animation.

Leading the nominations are the animated features Zootopia with 11 nominations and Kubo and the Two Strings with 10 nominations.

The five nominees for Best Animated Feature are:

Finding Dory — Pixar Animation Studios
Kubo and the Two Strings — LAIKA
Kung Fu Panda 3 — DreamWorks Animation
Moana — Walt Disney Animation Studios
Zootopia — Walt Disney Animation Studios

The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 4th, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. PT at Royce Hall on the UCLA campus. Streaming information should be available closer to the event on the annieawards.org website.
