Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures have released a new trailer for their upcoming animated sequel Despicable Me 3.
The film is a continuation of the adventures of Gru, Lucy, their daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes, and, of course, the Minions. Steve Carrell and Kristen Wiig return to voice Gru and Lucy. Joining the cast is Trey Parker as the voice of Balthazar Bratt, “a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ’80s, and proves to be Gru’s most formidable nemesis to date.”
Directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda and co-directed by Eric Guillon, Despicable Me 3 opens in U.S. theaters on June 30th, 2017. Follow the film on Facebook, Twitter, and the film’s official website.
The film seems okay. I know many people are tired of the Minions, but I do love them as characters so I missed their presence in this trailer. I also am not too fond of this new villain. Hopefully, the film surprises.
