Holy smokes! Disney Television Animation’s upcoming DuckTales reboot made a splash online today with a very exciting cast announcement via the Disney X-D YouTube channel.
Scotland native David Tennant is the new voice of Scrooge McDuck. Nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie will be voiced by three different actors–Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, and Bobby Moynihan, respectively. (Russi Taylor voiced all three nephews in the original series.)
Rounding out the primary cast are Beck Bennett as the voice of Launchpad McQuack, Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beaksley, and Kate Micucci as Webbigail Vanderquack (also voiced by Russi Taylor in the original).
The new DuckTales animated series is coming to Disney X-D in the summer of 2017. Follow @DisneyChannelPR on Twitter for the latest updates.
