Illumination Entertainment keeps on delivering the hits. Their current release Sing dominated the 2016 holiday box office–so much so, that they’ve green-lit a sequel.
Just announced today, Sing 2 is scheduled to be released on December 25th, 2020. No other information about the sequel was made available.
Illumination also shared new release dates for two previously announced sequels: The Secret Life of Pets 2 is now scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on July 3rd, 2019 (original release date was July 13th, 2018) and Minions 2 is now scheduled to be released on July 3rd, 2020 (original release date was July 10th, 2020).
Despicable Me 3, the next film from Illumination Entertainment, is still planned to be released this summer on June 30th.
