We’ve all been hearing for years about the decline of DVD and Blu-ray sales. And while there’s hasn’t been any doubt about the popularity and convenience of streaming services and digital downloads over physical discs, it still hit us pretty hard to learn that Fox will no longer be releasing any further seasons of The Simpsons on physical media.
This past week at San Diego Comic Con a Family Guy/The Simpsons crossover was announced. We now have news that the Planet Express crew from Futurama will also be meeting The Simpsons. Check out all the details after the jump…
A familiar voice on Fox’s Sunday night Animation Domination programming block will be appearing on the season finale of The Simpsons. Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show, will be making a guest appearance as a “smooth operator named Ben” who Marge meets online.
