New Blu-ray Release Date for ‘Aladdin’ Diamond Edition

Make way for Prince Ali on your shelves and hard drives–The Walt Disney Studios has released a slightly revised schedule for the upcoming Diamond Edition release of Aladdin.

‘Aladdin’ Diamond Edition Blu-ray Coming This October

Finally, the Walt Disney Studios is releasing Aladdin on Blu-ray and Digital HD on October 6th, 2015. We’ve been waiting way too long for this, so it’s very happy news that the U.S. will at last be getting this perennial favorite released in high-definition.

Studio Ghibli Blu-rays Coming on November 18th

Three new Blu-rays of English-dubbed Studio Ghibli features are on their way this fall. Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, and The Wind Rises are all scheduled to be released in the U.S. on November 18th. All three films were released in the U.S. by The Walt Disney Studios and Disney has put together these new Blu-ray sets.

‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ Coming to Blu-ray and Digital HD on November 11th

DreamWorks Animation’s latest feature film How to Train Your Dragon 2 is coming to Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD on November 11th. Two packages will be available: a two-disc version with the film on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD and a three-disc Deluxe Edition with addition of a 3D Blu-ray Disc.

‘Sleeping Beauty’ Diamond Edition Now Available on Blu-ray and Digital HD

You’re not dreaming — Disney Animation‘s 1959 classic feature film Sleeping Beauty is back on Blu-ray on today (a Platinum Edition Blu-ray of Sleeping Beauty was last released exactly 6 years ago today in 2008). This time, the animated motion picture is getting the Diamond Edition treatment from The Walt Disney Studios with some cool new bonus features along with being available for the first time in Digital HD.

‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold’ Season Two Now on Blu-ray

The sophomore season of Warner Bros.’ animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold has arrived on Blu-ray Disc. All 26 episodes are included on the two disc set and are presented in HD widescreen in the correct aspect ratio as the creative team intended.

Complete ‘Pee-wee’s Playhouse’ Box Set Coming to Blu-ray on October 21st
