Watch This: New ‘Batman Beyond’ Short Celebrates 75th Anniversary of Batman

In addition to the cool short from Bruce Timm, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have produced another animated tribute to Batman honoring the Caped Crusaders 75th anniversary. This new animated short is set in the Batman Beyond world with the semi-retired Bruce Wayne (voiced again by Kevin Conroy) and his young pal Terry (voiced by Will Friedle) taking up the mantle of Batman. The duo is being attacked by robotic Bat-droids that look like all of the different incarnations of the Batman character and the Bat-suit over the years. It’s really a cool tribute. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Announces ‘Flashpoint’ Release Date; Official Title

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has been churning out the feature-length animated films based on DC Comics at a regular clip all year-long with Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 and the upcoming Superman: Unbound, and the next DC Animated Universe feature will be based on the popular 2011 Flashpoint comic book event by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert, which was the much-publicized story that essentially ended 75 years of DC Comics continuity and led to the New 52 Comic line re-launch.
