Now available on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and Digital HD, Pixar Animation Studios’ Inside Out is an animated wonder, no matter how you choose to watch it. I had the chance to see the film again on Blu-ray, along with all of the bonus features, and here’s my train of thought about the experience.
The creative team behind Pixar’s new TV special Toy Story That Time Forgot held a panel presentation and discussion at San Diego Comic-Con recently. Lots of cool info was revealed at the panel, including character designs and bios, as well as the special’s screening date, which will be December 2nd on ABC.
Pixar fans at San Diego Comic-Con this week are in for a treat: Pixar and ABC are giving away posters for the upcoming TV special Toy Story That Time Forgot at their Comic-Con panel as well at a special autograph session. The poster was designed by comic artist/ legend Mike Mignola and it’s just all sorts of cool.
Well, maybe it isn’t a scoop as much as it is a sample spoon, but you know what they say about a spoonful of Pixar. It helps the slow animation season go down in a most delightful way! And those flavorful rascals from Emeryville have released a little more about their elusively thought-provoking upcoming feature, Inside Out, directed by the equally ineffable Pete Docter.
In a bit of exciting news from composer Michael Giacchino, he’s reportedly returning to Pixar Animation Studios to score an as of yet unannounced project. In the past Giacchino has scored six short films and four feature films for the studio.
