Paramount Animation recently announced that animator Lino DiSalvo has been named as the studio’s new creative director. DiSalvo comes to Paramount after having spent the last 16 years at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Most recently, he was head of animation for Disney’s mega-hit Frozen.

‘Trolls’ Finds a Creative Team

The upcoming re-introduction of the once popular Trolls to pop culture is picking up steam as DreamWorks Animation has tapped Mike Mitchell (Shrek Forever After) to direct the animated feature film which is expected to hit theaters in November of 2016. Joining Mitchell is award-winning veteran TV writer Erica Rivinoja (South Park, Up All Night) and the project will be produced by Shrek Forever After‘s Gina Shay, a DWA stalwart.
