Watch This: First Look at Pixar’s New ‘Lava’ Short

Pixar Animation Studios has just released a clip from its upcoming short film Lava. 

Directed by James Ford Murphy, Lava tells the love story of two Hawaiian volcanos. The volcanos are voiced by Hawaiian singers Kuana Torres Kahele and Napua Greig.

Check out this cool new still from Pixar’s upcoming short Lava that was published this past week in the Los Angeles Times. The picture is of the volcano Uku, one half of the volcanic love duo of Uku and Lele whose romantic story is told in the short.
