Just one week after its debut on Netflix, the original animated comedy series BoJack Horseman has been renewed for another 12 episodes. The Hollywood Reporter stated that the “renewal comes as Netflix is looking to push further” into original comedy content.

Netflix Debuts Original Anime Series ‘Knights of Sidonia’
Netflix is taking another cool step with their original programming initiatives with the debut of the anime series Knights of Sidonia. The series premiered in Japan in April 2014 and an English dub version is now available on the Netflix streaming service. It is the first Netflix original anime series. All 12 episodes are currently available for your viewing pleasure.
Updated ‘Magic School Bus’ Series Coming to Netflix in 2016
“Seatbelts, everyone!”
The popular PBS children’s TV show The Magic School Bus is getting a CG-animated reboot that will debut exclusively on Netflix in 2016. Produced by Scholastic Media, the new show, called The Magic School Bus 360°, will include a “modernized” Ms. Frizzle (actress Lily Tomlin voiced Ms. Frizzle in the original series) who will take her students on flying field trips in an updated version of the fancy bus. Netflix has ordered 26 half-hour episodes of the updated show.
DreamWorks Announces New Netflix Series Titles
As part of their mammoth original content deal with Netflix, DreamWorks Animation officially announced three new series currently in production that will debut in late 2014.
