It may be unfair to rank animated characters from television on the same list as those from film. A long running cartoon series has so much more time to develop the character. This character has had over fifteen years, four hundred episodes and two full length feature films in which to pique our fascination. However, I believe that SpongeBob Squarepants won this spot on the top ten most fascinating characters from the first moment we met him in episode one, “Help Wanted,” which aired on Nickelodeon on May Day of 1999.

Final Episodes of ‘Legend of Korra’ Season 3 to Play Exclusively Online
In the continuing saga of Nickelodeon’s scheduling of The Legend of Korra, we’ve learned that the show has been pulled from Nickelodeon’s TV schedule all together and final episodes of Book 3 (aka season three) will play exclusively on digital outlets.
‘Legend of Korra’ Returns for Third Season
Nickelodeon has begun airing season (or “book”) three of their series The Legend of Korra. Season three, entitled Book Three: Change, quietly made its debut on Friday, June 27th with three new episodes (or “chapters”) shown consecutively that night. New episodes will begin airing again on Friday, July 11th. Select past episodes can be viewed on Nick.com.
