Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon have released a new trailer for the upcoming live-action/hybrid animated film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. The trailer is on the Paramount Pictures UK YouTube channel and also on Nick.com.
Paramount Animation recently announced that animator Lino DiSalvo has been named as the studio’s new creative director. DiSalvo comes to Paramount after having spent the last 16 years at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Most recently, he was head of animation for Disney’s mega-hit Frozen.
The movie studios are spreading lots of holiday cheer this year by releasing new animated films and series on Blu-ray just in time for the big gift giving season.
