Are you getting ready to go back to Rio? 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios have released the final Rio 2 trailer prior to its U.S. release on April 11th. The trailer features Nigel, voiced by the fantastic Jemaine Clement, doing a hilarious cover of Gloria Gaynor’s disco standard “I Will Survive.” Background vocals are provided by the lovely and talented Kristen Chenoweth, the voice of Gabi the poison dart frog who appears to be number two to Nigel’s number one. ‘Rio 2’ International Teaser Hits the Web
The international teaser for Blue Sky Studios’ Rio 2, the sequel to the 2011 animated hit, Rio, has hit the Internet. The teaser, which runs at just under a minute, features a colorful bevy of animated birds (and a dog) dancing in a conga line.
Dragon 2; Peabody; Peanuts Highlight Fox Animation Slate at CinemaCon
During Thursday’s press conference at CinemaCon, Fox Studios chairman Jim Gianopulos unleashed a Dragon..or a sequel to Dragons. How to Train Your Dragon 2 (not a confirmed title), the sequel to DreamWorks Animation’s 2010 hit will fly into theaters on June 20th, 2014.
