Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen is now available for purchase on Digital HD (the Blu-ray and on-demand versions will be released on March 18th). Included in the download (and also on the Blu-ray) is a new behind-the-scenes bonus feature called “The Making of Frozen” starring three of the film’s voice actors: Josh Gad (Olaf), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), and Kristen Bell (Anna).
The folks at Walt Disney Records have come up with a cool promotion for the best-selling Frozen soundtrack. A new limited-edition vinyl version of the soundtrack is now available for purchase.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) held their annual film awards last Sunday in London. For Best Animated Film, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen took home the award, winning over Pixar Animation Studios’ Monsters University and Illumination Entertainment/Universal’s Despicable Me 2.
The 2014 Critics’ Choice Awards ceremony took place this week in Los Angeles. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen took home the award for Best Animated Film at the ceremony. “Let It Go” from Frozen took home the award for Best Song.
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ hit film Frozen took home the Golden Globe last night for Best Animated Feature Film. Frozen won over DreamWorks Animation’s The Croods and Illumination Entertainment’s Despicable Me 2. The co-directors of Frozen Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee were on hand to accept the award. Also in attendance at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony in Los Angeles was Disney and Pixar chief creative officer John Lasseter (the Golden Globes just happened to coincide with his birthday so the award was a nice birthday present, that’s for sure).
Nominations for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual Golden Globe Awards were announced today in Hollywood, CA. The Golden Globe Awards have award categories for both television and film. Similar to the Academy Awards, they also have a Best Animated Feature Film category.

Disney recently released via the Yahoo! Movies entertainment site new character images and bios for the main characters of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 53rd animated motion picture Frozen. Also published today on the Yahoo! Movies site is a new interview with Frozen directors Chris Buck (Tarzan, Surf’s Up) and Jennifer Lee (Wreck-It Ralph).
USA Today was the lucky recipient of five new images from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming feature, Frozen. The USA Today article also shares previously unreleased information about the film along with quotes from co-directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee and members of the voice cast.
