What’s This? ‘Nightmare’ Getting Disney Studios’ ‘Second Screen Live’ Treatment

The Walt Disney Studios is trying another round of its “Second Screen Live” (aka everybody use an iPad at the movie theater) experience, this time with their 1993 classic stop-motion animated feature Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Disney’s animated classic The Little Mermaid was the first film to have a Second Screen Live experience a few weeks ago.

Disney Trying New Theater Viewing Concept with ‘The Little Mermaid –Second Screen Live’

In conjunction with the upcoming Diamond Edition release of the Disney animated classic The Little Mermaid, Disney is trying something new. It has created an event called The Little Mermaid – Second Screen Live where you are actually encouraged to bring your Apple iPad to the movie theater and then watch the movie while interacting with live streaming content on your iPad.
