Disney Screens ‘Monsters University’ at CinemaCon, Makes Other Cool Announcements
Attendees at The Walt Disney Studios’ CinemaCon presentation yesterday were treated to a screening of a full, unfinished cut of Pixar’s Monsters University. Director Dan Scanlon was in attendance and told the audience that they were some of the first people outside of Pixar to see the film. While I’m sure they’ve been embargoed from saying much, those attendees who did comment on Twitter and on their various news sites and blogs all had positive things to say about the film. Needless to say, all of us at Animation Fascination wished we were in attendance, but we’ll have to wait along with the rest of the U.S. to see Monsters University when it arrives in theaters on June 21.
