At the 2017 Academy Awards ceremony last night, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia was awarded the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. Best Animated Short Film went to Pixar Animation Studios’ Piper.

Walt Disney Animation Studios rocked the D23 Expo 2015 this year with some amazing stuff. My time at the Expo was limited, but I was happy (and grateful) that I was able to get a seat for the “Welcome to Zootopia!” panel held on Saturday, August 15th, 2015, at the Anaheim Convention Center.
