‘The Iron Giant’ Returning to Theaters and Digital HD with New Scenes

We’re stoked about the news that Warner Bros. is screening a “signature edition” (aka special edition) of their 1999 animated classic The Iron Giant in theaters this fall and that a new Digital HD release of the film is on the way, too. Two new scenes have been added to this new “signature edition” print.

This special screening from Warner Bros. in conjunction Fathom Events will be happening in theaters across the U.S. on September 30th at 7:00 p.m. local time. An encore presentation will be screened in select markets on October 4th at 12:00 p.m. local time. Check the Fathom Events site for the latest details and for participating theaters.

The press release also states that a new Digital HD version of the “signature edition” will be released sometime this fall. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
