The 40th Annual Annie Awards are taking place this coming Saturday, February 2nd, at UCLA’s Royce Hall and in anticipation of the event have finally divulged who will be hosting the beloved black tie event celebrating the world of animation and all those that pour their lives into it.
Cartoon Network recently unveiled its programming plans for the next two years and it is jam-packed with new properties, a few specials, and many returning favorites. Of the new additions, one of the most notable is IncredibleCrew, a half-hour sketch comedy show (promos of which have been playing ad nauseam in your local theater lobby) starring Jeremy Shada, the voice of Finn on Adventure Time. Other animated additions to the CN lineup include UncleGrandpa, Steven Universe, and Clarence. CN also has a few new DC superhero shows up its sleeve, with Teen Titans GO!and Beware TheBatman.
In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Disney is bringing its much beloved classic, Peter Pan, to the High Definition world with a wonderful Blu-ray package. In anticipation of this upcoming February 5th release, I was extremely fortunate enough to chat with Kathryn Beaumont, the voice of Wendy Darling (as well as Alice in Alice in Wonderland) and Paul Collins, the voice of John Darling.
