The Walt Disney Studios announced today yet another live action remake of one of its animated classics–this time, it’s the 1949 package film The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. But not only are the remake wizards at Disney going to retell both The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and The Wind in the Willows using glorious photorealistic CG imagery, they will be re-creating the film as truly a shot-by-shot remake of the original.
To celebrate his upcoming birthday, Disney’s Mickey Mouse (the theme park walk-around version, that is) has started a tour around the world. And courtesy of Facebook and Instagram, we’ll all get to follow along in the fun.
In case you haven’t already heard, D23 is hosting their next “Destination D” event this November at Walt Disney World in Florida. The theme is “Amazing Adventures” and they’ve got some interesting items on the docket.
D23, Disney’s official fan club, continues to provide interesting and unique experiences for the Disney fan base. Disney Animation fans are especially in for a treat this year with some of the offerings that D23 will be providing throughout 2016.
“The fairest one of all” is making its way out of the Disney vault and back on store shelves (both digital and physical) with the upcoming re-release of Disney Animation’s first animated motion picture Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
After what has seemed like 10,000 years (which can give you such a crick in the neck, as you know), Aladdin, one of our favorite film’s from Disney Animation’s second golden age, has finally been released in the U.S.A. in glorious HD.
