Craig McCracken, one of my favorite TV animation directors and the guy responsible for such great shows as The Powerpuff Girls and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, has a new series set to debut this month on Disney Channel.
Wander Over Yonder tells the tales of Wander, “an overly optimistic intergalactic traveler who, along with his loyal but bullish steed Sylvia, goes from planet to planet helping people to live free and have fun, all against the evil reign of Lord Hater and his army of Watchdogs.”
One of the most beloved films in the Walt Disney Studios’ canon, Mary Poppins is getting a full HD transfer and coming to Blu-ray on December 10, 2013. The release commemorates the 50th anniversary of the film’s theatrical release (the film had its world premiere in 1964 at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood).
