Watch This: Opening Sequence for Disney’s New Series ‘Wander Over Yonder’

Craig McCracken, one of my favorite TV animation directors and the guy responsible for such great shows as The Powerpuff Girls and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, has a new series set to debut this month on Disney Channel.

Wander Over Yonder tells the tales of Wander, “an overly optimistic intergalactic traveler who, along with his loyal but bullish steed Sylvia, goes from planet to planet helping people to live free and have fun, all against the evil reign of Lord Hater and his army of Watchdogs.”

Watch This: Trailer for ‘Mary Poppins’ Coming to Blu-ray December 10th

One of the most beloved films in the Walt Disney Studios’ canon, Mary Poppins is getting a full HD transfer and coming to Blu-ray on December 10, 2013. The release commemorates the 50th anniversary of the film’s theatrical release (the film had its world premiere in 1964 at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood).

Disney Channel Renews ‘Gravity Falls’

Good news for fans of Dipper, Mable and Grunkle Stan–Disney Channel has announced that the hit series Gravity Falls has been renewed for a second season. Created by Alex Hirsch (The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Fish Hooks), the show has become television’s number one animated series according to Nielsen with kids ages 2-11 and 6-12 along with tweens ages 9-14.
