DreamWorks Animation has partnered with Super RTL, Europe’s most watched children’s network, to supply the network with over 1,200 hours of programming for the next seven years. Super RTL currently has a deal in place with Disney for its exclusive programming, but that deal ends at the end of this year allowing DreamWorks to fill the void.

Disney•Pixar has released the final trailer to their eagerly anticipated fourteenth feature film, Monsters University. This new trailer really shows the heart of the film and judging just by the footage shown, we’re in for another emotional roller coaster that only Pixar can pull off so masterfully. The upcoming re-introduction of the once popular Trolls to pop culture is picking up steam as DreamWorks Animation has tapped Mike Mitchell (Shrek Forever After) to direct the animated feature film which is expected to hit theaters in November of 2016. Joining Mitchell is award-winning veteran TV writer Erica Rivinoja (South Park, Up All Night) and the project will be produced by Shrek Forever After‘s Gina Shay, a DWA stalwart.

Zack Snyder, director of comic book movies 300, Watchmen and the eagerly anticipated Man of Steel, is teaming up with Bruce Timm, creator of Batman: The Animated Series and Jay Oliver, director of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and story board artist on Man of Steel, to work on an animated Superman short for Warner Bros… and breathe.
