Disney has made exciting announcements today about the upcoming production of Frozen 2, the sequel to the most successful animated film in the universe, Frozen 1.

Walt Disney’s birthday was on December 5th, which also happened to be the day that Disneyland announced the full-blown Frozen overhaul coming to the resort in less than a month. Both of these milestones meant a lot to me, and in maddeningly different ways.

New ‘Frozen’ Special Coming to ABC

Walt Disney Animation Studios announced on their Facebook page an upcoming TV special about the making of Frozen. The special, called The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic, will make its debut on Tuesday, September 2nd, 8:00 – 9:00 PM ET (check your local listings) on the ABC Television Network.

‘Frozen’ Sing-Along Edition Coming to DVD

Disney is releasing a home version of their Frozen Sing-Along Edition. It will be available on DVD (sorry, no Blu-ray or 3D Blu-ray) and Digital HD for a limited time beginning on November 18th.
